Merry Christmas!!

Christmas is just so much more fun when you have a child. Even though Kate probably had no idea what was going on, it was still fun to watch her as each of her hundreds of toys were unwrapped. I think she was a little overwhelmed on Christmas morning. ( I was too- how was I going to store all this stuff???) She would have been content with the rocking horse she got from Nonnie and Papa but as each toy was unveiled, that was the toy she wanted. Lasted about 2 minutes and then on to the next. It will be interesting next year when she may be a bit more aware of what is going on. We did not get much sleep over the holiday - gets harder to sleep in especially when you are out of town. The pack n play just doesn't cut it for Miss Kate - hey, I wouldn't like that thing either! Kate spent most nights starting out in her bed, then ending up in bed with us. Such sweet moments hearing the whistle of her nose and then clicking of the pacifer at 3am. We had a great Christmas...
