Ok, ok....after seeing these pictures let me really explain. I promise -I do not let Kate sit in a diaper this full! But, yes this is her diaper and yes it really is that full. This morning I took Kate for a walk and we stopped by the park to play for a few minutes. Well, you can't go to the park without going to the pool. Luckily someone was at the pool to let us in or there would have been kicking and screaming the entire way home. Well, I was not prepared for swimming so I took off Kate's clothes and let her walk around in her diaper. Walking turned into sitting and running under the fountains. Well, after about 20 minutes of water play, this is what her diaper looked like above. I now know why they make swim diapers and strongly suggest not letting your baby swim in normal diapers. I swear it absorbed out 2 inches from the entire pool! And the craziest thing- it did not leak!!! I know this because I made Kate walk home because I was afraid it might bust in her stroller. I am sure there was a bit of pee pee mixed in with the pool water. It was that thick though! The entire 1/2 mile home the diaper never leaked. Way to go Pampers!!! Not sure I'd let her diaper ever get that full but I know now that if it did I would not have to worry about leakage!! It was pretty funny. I saved the diaper for Kameron to witness. And now 6 hours later it is still in the grocery sack and all liquid still in tact! Crazy!
