Kara is 6 weeks old. Wow! How time flies by! She has been such a great baby- (not that any baby is a bad baby.) She has started to wake up more and is sticking well to a schedule of nursing, awake time for about hour, then sleep for about 2 hours - then repeat :) Thank goodness she can sleep through anything because Kameron and I swear Kate is the loudest human being EVER. I am sure Kara dreams about the day she can sleep in silence. Kate loves to go to her crib and shake it while yelling Kara's name as loud as possible. One day I am sure Kara will get Kate back for that! haha... We have been blessed with some special smile moments with Kara lately. She especially likes to shoot me a few smiles around her 5:30am feeding. What a special moment with her in the early morning light to see her smiling. Makes me ok with being up at 5:30am. She likes to smile at Kameron when he gets home from work. Oh how daddy loves that! We are enjoying the girls and as Kameron beautifully stated the other day - we can totally see God's beauty through our girls.Saturday, August 23, 2008
6 weeks old!!!

What a sweet little smile...so exciting. I remember the 1st times Noah smiled and feeling the same as you...it's their own little way of saying "I love you" or at least that's what I like to believe :)
