My baby is 4! Oh my....where has the time gone??? Kameron and I were looking at pictures the other night and I got a lump in my throat as we looked back on her first year of life. Crazy how life gets ahead of us and all of a sudden our babies are now real kids!
We celebrated the big birthday with all of Kate's good friends. we decided on a McDonalds birthday party this year - I was not too excited about it BUT the price was right and I did not have to do a thing! And in the end I would totally have another party there. It was so great. All the kids had a blast and most importantly Kate had a blast. She even got a special princess birthday cake from nonnie and papa! This made her day. Thanks Nonnie for remembering about this special cake!
I think the greatest part of the party was singing to her. Watch below and see what sister Kara does. (she puts her arm around kate while singing) So sweet!!!
Our sweet Kate is 4. what a wonderful 4 years it has been. I am excited to see what the next year has in store for her. She continues to amaze us at what she knows...sometimes she can even put me back into place! haha.... Her independence and will are beautiful - even when it is a challenge. I pray she keeps that sense of who she is and what she wants in life. We will just work on the delivery of it! hehe
