Since July life has zoomed by. Our house is moving along and we have an October close date! whoo hoo!!! It is beautiful and the crew has done an amazing job getting it exactly as we imagined. We could not be any happier with the process. We feel very blessed.
Pic of the latest....shutters still need to be added and obviously landscaping and drive but you get the gist.
Girls started real school...kinder and 1st. I cannot believe we have entered the world of elementary school already. We adore their new school and are so happy with their teachers. I've already helped one of the teachers by cutting out 250 number cards! And one has asked me to be room mom, so here we go! Kate is adjusting very well to 1st grade. Thank goodness. Kara is taking a bit longer. Most mornings consist of tears and pleading but once she is there she loves it. her teacher has even emailed and texted me during the day just to let me know she is fine. It broke my heart at first but now we are into week 4 and its game time. Gotta use my game face and take the emotion out of it! :)
Plus we are making a 25 minute drive every morning to school so we are tired...very tired. Im sure this plays a huge role in the emotional mornings.
Colin started his 3 year old big boy class too. He loves being in "not the baby" hall at preschool. All of his buddies are in his class and he already got in trouble by the second day of school. Had to sit out with 4 other boys for not listening. ha! Im sure there will be more of these.
Too bad I cant find a picture of his first day.
Poor third child.
Pray for us as we transition yet again but hopefully for the last time for a loooong time :)
