oh how time flies...

I cannot believe my last post was January 28! I swear February has flown by. I cannot believe it is almost March. I cannot wait for the spring weather although it has definitely felt like spring here lately. Such a tease because it is supposed to be in the 50's again this weekend. Anyway, the month of February has brought us runny noses(kara and kate), ear infections(kate), random fevers and vomiting (kate), and CRAWLING!!!! Yes, Kara is crawling! I have 2 mobile children! Kara began crawling last week. A whole month end a half earlier than Kate....not that I am at all comparing. It is interesting though how Kara is doing things quicker than Kate. I was told that usually that happens with your secind child...they see the first one doing things and want to them as well. And with an extremely active big sister like Kate, I would not have been surprised if Kara crawled at 2 months! ha! It is very fun to see Kara scoot her way around the floor and interesting to see what she goes for - usually the toy Kate is playing with which creates a tug of war between the 2 girls. Today it is Kate 50 Kara 1...or something like that! Kara is figuring it out though and whipping out the pouty lip quicker than I can break it up! So funny! Kara's personality is coming out more and more every day. She is still laid back Kara and smiles at just about anything and anyone. She has her moments though and lets us know when she is uncomfortable or hungry. She was gnawing on my knee this afternoon as I was reading them books before nap. Sorry Kare - bear! It had been 4 hours! Other than that we are gearing up for a few weekends out of town and then a much needed mommy and daddy vacation to Mexico! Ole!! I am counting down the days.....
