A little late on this post but better late than never! Kara is a whopping 8 months old! Time just keeps flying! I actually get a little lump in my throat thinking about the fact that she will be 1 before we know it! She is doing so much right now - crawling all over the place, pulling up on everything she can get her hands on, scaling furniture and every once in a while standing on her own! It is fun to see her make these milestones but kinda sad too because she is growing up before our very eyes. She is the baby right now and I have realized that I don't want her to grow up just quite yet. She is dropping an afternoon nursing and that makes me sad. I think because the girl LOVES to nurse and it is such a pleasant experience this time around. Not that Kate's was bad but it was a bit more of a challenge. Kara is just about 19 pounds - oh my! We gotta get a big girl car seat very soon! Her legs are like little sausages these days a s daddy says. Kara is still very laid back and loves her big sister so much. Her eyes light up when Kate walks in the room - she gets this huge smile on her face and gasps with a giggle of delight. I absolutely love it! Kate loves Kara so much as well. She wants to know where Kara is at all times and loves to make her smile. I continue to pray that their relationship grows deeper every day. Here are a few pictures of the last few weeks...
