1st Birthday Pictures

On Kara's 1st birthday ( before her party over the weekend) we had a fun day planned with her and Kate's friends. I am very blessed to have friends that all have kiddos the same age as Kate and Kara. Something is definitely in the water since 5 of my friends and I all have kids 18 months apart! haha!

We began the day at the mall to play. Both girls love this germ infested play area. yes, I admit it is germ infested but I am ok with it because they love it and it totally wears them out!

Then we went to the cutest little place The Cupcake Cottage to enjoy a tasty treat to celebrate Kara's day. Kara enjoyed playing with the icing more than eating it. Kate on the other hand was asking for seconds.

I told her she could not eat her cupcake until everyone got one and until we sang to Kara. We were first in line so she had to wait for 4 others to order. She was very patient...I swear I saw drool coming out of the corner of her mouth!

Over the weekend we had a birthday party for Kara with family and friends at the pool. It was a lot of fun and all her best friends came. The grandparents came down as well as a few other family members.
