Happy 1st Birthday!

Sweet Kara - Bear,
Happy first birthday!!! I cannot believe you are 1 year old! The time has flown by so very fast. I am almost a week late in writing this because I knew it was going to be a hard one to write. I get a lump in my throat as I even think about the fact that you are 1. I love you so very much sweetheart. You have been such a great baby Kara. I could not ask for a more laid back, relaxed child! Your spirit is infectious. I just look at you and smile. I love so many things about you. I love that you are so curious. You want know what everyone is doing and where everythings is. Especially when sister is playing with playdoh and water colors. You have had your fair share of blue paydoh and water color paints in your mouth. Very soon you will get to enjoy the wonders of those fun things sister gets to do, I promise. I love that you think you are such a big girl! You want to do everything sister does, you take risks when you walk around and climb in things - you have no fear right now. I love that you love your daddy so much. You get so excited when he gets home. I love that! You are a very blessed little girl to have such an amazing daddy. He loves playing tea set, pushing strollers, and will attempt all things girly with you. You love watching him and sister play together and have even started joining in on the evening fun with them. I also love that it is going to take a while to wean you! Funny that I say that but nursing has been such a great experience for the two of us. It has been a definite bonding time for us and I treasure our moments together. I love that you like to play with my hair when you nurse - even when you pull too hard it is still so sweet. I also love that you are so cuddly. You love to give hugs and kisses. Such a great way to wake up in the morning! What I love the most about you kara bear is that I see so many glimpses of God's character and grace through you. He uses you and your sister to show me and your daddy how to show grace and unconditional love. I thank Him each every day for your perfect little life and that He has given us the awesome responsibilty to love and care for you in this life. What a lovely gift from Him! I love you so very much Kara and am so excited to see you grow up. I pray that you feel loved each and every moment and that you can one day feel God's perfect love and claim that as your very own from Him. Happy Birthday sweetie!
