This fall has been busy! Between juggling play groups, school, home life and now me interiming at the church...I am pooped! I want to be a good blogger but I have come to the conclusion that I just can't be that right now...and I am totally ok with that! haha....I will try to post pics of the girls and note the cute things and fun things we are doing. They are growing up way too fast...way too fast!
Here is what we've been up to in the last few months in no particular order :)
First and foremost Kate got her FIRST haircut in September!!! Yes, I said KATE got her first haircut. With her long curls there was really never a need to get her haircut. Plus, I just could not bear to get any of her beautiful curls cut off! But, the beauty of curly hair is that you do not notice that it is not even. So, I finally decided it was time to get her hair cut. We went to the cutest place EVER for girls - Sweet and Sassy. Highly reccomend it if you have a girl. It was totally "pinked" out and had princess stuff EVERYWHERE! Kate was in heaven.
Here she is with all the fun clips in her hair! haha..so cute! She was kinda quiet during this part and looked a little scared :)

The stylist then cut and blow dried her hair. She liked that part. It was cute to watch Kate watch herself in the mirror.
After the cut and blow dry, got had princess dust sprayed in her hair - (glitter spray) so fun! Then a glitter star was put on her cheek and she got to pick out a fun lollipop. To top it all off she hand a hand and arm massge with fun smelling lotion! I don't even get that!!! hehe...

We went to the fair in October and the girls got their first corny dogs. I intended to share with Kara but she had other plans. One bite and she was smitten with the corn dog.

Kara has attempted many feats in the last few months.
Such as climbing on the kitchen set...yikes!
Attempting to put her shoes on by herself.... I swear she sat here for a good 5 minutes.
And attempting to get a few more words in. Right now she is saying the following words:
duck, woof-woof, ball, mama, dada, yes, no, uh oh, hi, bye bye
She does not like to say much. Probably because big sis says it all! haha
Kate has said some cute things lately as well.
Kate: " I am thankful for God. Because God loves me."
Daddy: "That is a nice thing to say Kate."
Kate: "daddy, you are going to see Him in 2 weeks."
( uh oh...we are hoping she is not a prophet!!! haha)
***
Kate: " Daddy, can I jump into the tv so I can play??"

Halloween was fun this year. Our church had a trunk or treat so we spent the whole evening there. The girls had their fair share of candy!
Kate went as a ballerina and Kara was an 80's aerobics instructor...so funny!
Kameron and I as teletubbies...enough said!
I had to include this picture below of the girls. Not a very good quality photo but I captured a very cute moment between the girls just smiling at one another...probably scheming something!
It has been a fun last couple months. Filled with lots of fun, challenging times ( hint...hint...defiance and discilpining! yuck!), and memories made.
Staye tuned for Mommy's Vacation in New York City!!!!!
