Happy Birthday my Kate!

I cannot believe my baby is three! Kate turned three on December 18. Three years old....it sounds so old! As I look back at her three years, she really is such a big girl. There are so many funny things she says and does. So many things she can do by herself...or at least attempt by herself. She always reassures us that "I can do it by myself!" So many new things she is totally into. She LOVES Cinderella. I am not even sure how she got into her now that I think of it. Kameron or I must tell her at least 3 versions of Cinderella before bedtime these days. I think my favorite part of telling the story is seeing her eyes light up when I speak of the dress and shoes. It gets me every time! She is also into dress up as well. It is funny to see the outfits she comes up with these days. Like this one:

The nigh the night before her birthday she woke up around 10:30 screaming and crying. This does not happen very often so when it does we usually will bring her downstairs with us to calm her down. She ended up laying across me and falling back asleep very quickly. It took everything in me not to bawl all over her! It was just the sweetest thing because she has not fallen asleep on me since she was a baby. She felt so big yet laying across me but was still so small at the same time. So innocent and pure.....Lord, protect this sweet girl's heart. Help her keep her eyes fixed on you. May she find her self worth in you alone. Thank you for allowing kameron and I to raise Kate and entrusting her life with us. What a joy and blessing she is. How amazing is it to see You in her!
