I have been eagerly awaiting from the moment Kate was born for her to start her first dance class. Well, Monday we started. Kara began as well. They are both in ballet together. I am so excited they get to be in the same class. We enrolled them at Devotion in Motion - a dance ministry here in Fort Worth. Love the idea that it is a Christian ministry and that they use God's word in every class. Luckily I purchased all the essentials last week before Colin arrived - ballet slippers, tights, and leotards. The girls LOVE their dance clothes. I LOVE them in their dance clothes.
Day 1 of dance went great. They had a blast and were so giddy afterwards. Their good friend Carly is in class with them as well. I am super excited for the dance year and of course a recital. Will try to post some videos and pictures of them along their way through the first year of dance. Of course, I would LOVE for them to be dancers BUT we will let them decide. Kate is already planning to play soccer and golf when she is 5 :)

Oh my gosh, there are so many wonderful things about this situation! How cute they are in their leotards and ballet slippers, the fact that they are in in together, how it is Christian AND how they will soon have recitals! Oh the joy!
