Our sweet boy turned one last Saturday. I cannot believe how time has flown by! What an adventure of bringing up a boy, let alone 3 kiddos!
We decided to celebrate in San Antonio with my family. Kameron's parents were going to busy that weekend and we needed to go visit our new neice Ansley! Mom was great in getting the cake, Dad cooked, and we enjoyed.
Funny thing about the cake, we ordered it from costco ( I really love costco cakes....they are so good!) Anyway, mom went to pick it up an hour before the party and was not a happy grandma. They spelled his name wrong with two ll's, and decorated it with white flowers looking like a wedding cake! She ended up getting the cake for free, but it still did not solve our problem. Luckily we did a little tweaking and came up with this:
If this had been the first child, I am sure I would have been in tears! Poor third child...
I think we did a pretty good job :) In the end, it was fine.

Here is a cute video of us singing to our sweet boy.... Love how he checks out each of us singing!
Really enjoying his cake...
Finally decided that picking it up is so much better!
It was a great little party. He ate almost his entire piece of cake. We definitely needed a bath after that! Mr and Mrs May came by and it was so great to see them! It was very special to have them there. Totally forgot to get a picture of them, but Mrs May did a great job keeping Colin distracted while we got things ready! The girls were psycho about the cake. We found them silently attacking the cake while we were getting ready... I should have known because they were so quiet! here is the evidence...rats? No....my girls!!
What a beautiful year. what a challenging year. We are so thankful for sweet Colin who is ALL boy. The kid wants to destroy, hit, push, attack everything is his sight. It is quite funny actually. He can definitely hold his own. Toys really aren't his style. Colin would rather walk around with his toy golf club, clubbing anything in sight :) On the other hand, he is totally a momma's boy and loves to cuddle. I am quite smitten by him. Another favorite of his is playing with cords, plugs, basically anything that is dangerous. Seriously, I cannot leave him alone without finding him with a plug! This is where I found him the other day...
Ahhhhh ....looking forward this next year. He just keeps getting more fun every day!!! Love him so much!!!!
