Where do I even begin???

What a crazy time it has been in our household.  Do you know how many times I have thought, "this would be a great blog post..." and it stopped there.  Ha!  Now it is catch up time and I will be honest now, this post will not be my best.  It will be more of a recap :)

Preschool Graduation!!

Kate graduated from preschool!  We have a kindergartener on board!  And boy does she think she is hot stuff these days!  Graduation was really special.  They had each class come up and say what they wanted to be when they grew up. Kate said an artist.  We can totally see that!  They wore the red cap and gowns and got a scrolled diploma.  Kate was blessed with amazing, godly teachers this year.  They taught her so much and prepared her beyond what I could have hoped for.

Dance Recital!!!

We also had the girls dance recital in May.  They were in tap and ballet classes this year so we got to see two dances this year :)  Honestly I thought not to expect much from the dances this year.  The girls never wanted to practice and could not remember once they got home from dance.  I did not put much thought into it either this year either.  Last year I taped the teacher doing the dance, learned it myself, and practiced with the girls. Waaaaay over achiever mom I was!  haha!  Not this year.  BUT, We were pleasantly surprised and they did awesome!  I guess they were playing it "cool" and wanted to surpise us :)  Colin slept the entire first act!  That was super helpful and then he watched the entire second hour like a champ!

June

I decided for the month of June we would lay low and ease into the summer.  We swam ALOT.  I have 3 little fish on my hands!  No fear of the water!  The girls took swim lessons at TCU for two weeks.  It was a great program and taught the girls so much.  I loved that they took the time to teach them how to really swim, Kate can do the free style now!  Kara is getting there :)

We also had VBS, reading camp, and lots of play dates.  Sadly, I have no pictures of these...

In June, the girls and I had a week together.  Kameron was in a golf tournament in Oklahoma so he took Colin with him.  Colin had some alone time with Nonnie and Papa.   What a special time for him and a special time for the girls and I.  I planned the week out around VBS in the evening.  We baked, went to lunch, shopped, and had a movie night.  They even slept with me all week.  That was my idea because I hate sleeping alone!  haha.  It was actually really nice and was special for the girls.
