First Day of School

This week marked our first week of school!  AND Kate's first day of KINDERGARTEN! Oh my!  Big stuff.  Surprisingly I did really well with the drop off.  Partly because she is still at the same school and the days and hours are the same as the last 2 years, but also because I know her teachers really well.  She is in great hands.  Next year will be a totally different story for all of us.  The girls will both go off to big school.  Pretty sure tears will be shed on my part! 

I made a special breakfast of cinnamon rolls and scrambled eggs and fruit.  I got the zoopals plates (my kids ALWAYS want me to buy these! so i fnally caved in a bought a few packs!)  I was so excited because the pack had each of the kids class mascot in it.  Kate - Panthers, Kara - Monkey, and Colin- Giraffe.  They were pretty pumped to see their breakfast on their "class plate" too. 

We had to wake Colin up....he was so tired but ate every bite of his breakfast!

I also had each one tell me what they wanted to be when they grew up.  Both girls said an artist although Kate is the one who really wants to be an artist.  Kara copied :)  My sister did the same thing! haha!  Colin's was the best.... see below....

 

Tried to take a few pics but you know how that goes.  Hair was not yet brushed.  We all looked a little tassled but you know, thats life with 3 kiddos.  I'll probably get a better 15th day of school pic!   ha!

 

 

Everyone had a great first day.  Kate was most excited for homework!!!
