Today was kate's first day in the nursery at church. I was nervous to leave her...I don't have any idea why though! I ran the ministry for over a year! I guess I was more nervous about how she would act. Would she cry the whole time? Would she be fussy? Would she smile and laugh? Why these things matter to a mom I don't know. Why does it matter that your child cries when you are gone? Shouldn't that be a relief that your child loves you and misses you?? Well, Kate did wonderfully. I should have never doubted her. She was definitley the "portable baby" today. I had to run 2nd service so she stayed in the nursery for both services. After services I had to clean up so I just strapped her in the baby bjorn and we were on our way. I love that she just goes with the flow. ( I definitley could not have said this a month ago!) I was swinging her this way and that and there wasn't a peep of discomfort from her. Ahhhhh...the life of a baby. She is growing up way too fast....
